Deputy Director of Peer Outreach and Coordinated Speciality Initiatives
Anne-Margaret Smullen, MS, MA, CPRP obtained her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University and her MA in Psychological Services from Kean University. Anne-Margaret is the Director of Wellness Respite Services at Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey (CSPNJ), which empowers individuals to transform crises into opportunities for personal growth. Anne-Margaret presented about these services at the New Jersey Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association’s (NJPRA) annual conference in 2014 and at the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA) annual conference in 2016. Also at CSPNJ, Anne-Margaret oversees the Peer Support Advocate Initiative, which provides on-site peer support for individuals being treated for a mental health crisis in the Screening Center in Middlesex County.
Tracy Dos Santos Rocha, MS, LAC, NCC,
Middlesex Respite Program Manager
Tracy Dos Santos Rocha, MS, NCC, obtained her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Monmouth University. During her undergraduate career, she conducted a psychological research study and presented it at Monmouth’s Semi-Annual Research Conference. Tracy has a diverse background in clinical experience which includes interning at the Arc of Monmouth, as well as several school districts in Monmouth County, where she facilitated individual and group therapy. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and currently working toward licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Alexa Saks, MSW, LCSW, Senior Coach
Alexa Saks, MSW, LCSW, obtained her Master’s Degree in Social work from Rutgers University. She has also obtained her License of Clinical Social Work. Alexa has received the Clinical License of Social Work. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. Alexa also has the NJ State Certification as a School Social Worker. Alexa has an array of clinical experience which includes facilitating family, group, and individual therapy. Alexa is the Senior Coach at the Middlesex Respite House at Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey (CSPNJ). At CSPNJ, Alexa supervises staff and oversees the services. Alexa also interacts with the guests in order to provide genuine quality of care services.
Rebecca Slutter, BA, CPRP, Wellness Associate
Rebecca Slutter, BA, CPRP has received her CPRP (Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner) and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Johnson State College in 2011. Rebecca completed an internship with Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program, assisting refugee individuals in obtaining resources necessary for acclimation into the country. Rebecca has worked at the Respite House since its opening in April, 2014. Rebecca's specialities in the Respite House include music therapy, yoga, and meditation. Rebecca is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University.
Ron Klein, BA, Wellness Associate
Ron Klein, BA, has begun coursework toward a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Rutgers University in Scotch Plains, NJ. He works for Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey as a Wellness Associate for the Middlesex County Wellness Respite Services and as the Peer Advocate Coordinator at the Acute Psychiatric Services of University Behavioral Health Care/Rutgers in Piscataway, NJ. Ron has served as President of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance of New Jersey and is also well versed in Wellness Recovery Action Planning. In past years he has presented at the COMHCO (Coalition of Mental Health Consumer Organizations) Conference, and attended the Consumer Provider Association Workshop and remains a dedicated advocate and ally for those dealing with mental health issues.
Blossom Toussaint, BS, Wellness Associate
Blossom Toussaint, BS, obtained her BS in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Psychology from Kean University and Rutgers University. She currently works as a Wellness Associate for CSPNJ’s Wellness Respite Services of Middlesex County, NJ, which empowers individuals to transform crisis into an opportunity for personal growth. From 2013 to 2015, Blossom was the Program Coordinator of CSPNJ’s Enhanced Services in central New Jersey. In that role, Blossom served and provided support to individuals who were transitioning from long term psychiatric hospitalization to reintegration in the community. Blossom also volunteers at the Veterans Affairs hospital in East Orange and has volunteered with UMDNJ in the past.
Michelle Durant, Wellness Associate
Michelle Durant, is currently attending Brookdale Community College working on her degree in Human Services. Michelle has previously worked for CSPNJ in 1989-2000, working in Administration and Support Services. Michelle also worked in CSPNJ's Enhance Services, as a Housing Skills Facilitator. Michelle is now currently a Wellness Associate at the Respite in Middlesex County. Michelle has volunteered at Monmouth County Boys and Girls Club, mentoring children in the Asbury Park and Neptune areas. Michelle has also volunteered and continues to volunteer at the Arc of Monmouth Adult Center twice a week, playing BINGO, dancing and assisting individuals with socialization.
Pauline Dunn, BA, Wellness Associate
Pauline Dunn, BA, obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stockton University. Pauline works for Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey as a Wellness Associate for the Wellness Respite House. Pauline began at CSPNJ by volunteering at the Freehold Community Wellness Center, where she ran a meditation group. Pauline’s wellness specialties include Emotional Freedom Technique, meditation, and yoga.
